In 2004, TSKI was recognized by PCFC as the largest institution in the visayas comparable to other MFIs due to its performance in outreach and loan portfolio.

The Outstanding Achievement Award for the first MFI in the country to Reach 100 thousand clients

In 2004, TSKI was again recognized as the FIRST Microfinance Institution to reach 100,000 clients level by the People Credit Finance Corporation making TSKI the largest MFI in outreach in the country.

"Ulirang Kabalikat Award"- Most Outstanding Microfinance Institution in the Philippines for 2005

The Ulirang Kabalikat was the highest award given by PCFC to its microfinance partner. This award encompasses the highest achievement in different categories and characteristics of a microfinance institution.

First MFI certified with ISO 9001:2000 - Certification # CIP 3985/07/09/533

The ISO certification covers the areas of the following: Design, development and provision of microfinance, business development services (training, marketing, business advisory, community enterprise and development, packaging, and label design and development) provision of finance services.

Urban Leadership Award (ULA) in Microfinance 2007

Taytay Sa Kauswagan, Inc. conferred the Urban Leadership Award (ULA) by the Canadian Urban Insitute (CUI) in the Philippines in a ceremony held on December 14, 2007. The recognition merited TSKI for its "lifting out of poverty the least privileged Filipino through livelihood and microfinance."

"Most Inspiring Entrepreneur – Special Award 2008"

TSKI received the recognition from Go Negosyo, a leading NGO which espouses entrepreneurship, the recognition as the "most inspiring entrepreneur award – special award" for its untiring effort in developing enterprises and entrepreneurs in the community.

License on Grassroots Entrepreneurship Management (Entrep-Eskwela)

TSKI received its license on Grassroots Entrepreneurship management from ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation with complete set of Audio Visual materials in conducting the entrepreneurship training. The training with 22 modules aims to enhance further the capability of its clients in entrepreneurship focusing on the business they are interested with.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Iloilo, Incorporated awards to TSKI the "Galing Ilonggo Award 2009" for exemplifying Ilonggo ingenuity, tenacity, strength and power in business and industry for having successfully established investments in several parts of Iloilo City and other key cities in the country, employing skilled Ilonggo manpower, and for embodying the indomitable Ilonggo entrepreneurial spirit vis-a -vis the bigger players in the industry.

Citigroup's & MCPI's Recognition in MOTY Awards

TSKI was also recognized by CITIGROUP and Microfinance Council of the Philippines Inc., for having its clients won in the annual search for Microentrepreneur of the Year Award (MOTY).
