TSKI's 2009 KILOS Scholars

The five daughters of TSKI clients who qualified for the 4th Batch of APPEND –KILOS Scholarship program met the KEFI and TSKI Board of Trustees at Renewal House in Magsaysay Village, Lapaz, Iloilo City before they traveled for Manila on May 20, 2009.  These scholars will study at the school of their choice in Manila.

The qualified scholars came from the different areas where TSKI is present; two of them came from Leyte while the remaining three came from the different municipalities of Iloilo province.

The 2009 APPEND- KILOS scholars are the following:

Ana Dominique Nacion – She graduated as valedictorian at Don Felix Serra National High School in San Joaquin, Iloilo.  Her mother is a client of Miag-ao Branch.  Ana will study at Far Eastern University in Manila and will take a Bachelor of Science in Nursing course.

 

Kimberly June Crasco – Kimberly graduated as valedictorian at Janiuay National Comprehensive High School,  Janiuay, Iloilo.  Her father is a client of Cabatuan Branch.  She will study at the University of  Sto. Tomas in Manila she will take a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy course.

 

Chrismavic  Apas – She graduated as valedictorian at Rustico Capaje Sr. National High School in barangay Sabang Bao, Ormoc City, Leyte.  Her mother is a client of Ormoc Branch.  Chris will take a Bachelor of Science on Accountancy course at the University of the East in Manila.

 

Glenn Rose Solinap – Rose graduated as valedictorian at Bululacao National High School in barangay Bululacao, New Lucena, Iloilo. Her mother is a client of Cabatuan Branch.  She will take a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy course at the University of the East in Manila.

 

Berlyn Joy Campomayor – She graduated as salutatorian at Carigara National High School, Carigara, Leyte.  Her mother is a client of Carigara Branch.  Berlyn will take a Bachelor of Science in Education course at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila.

Alicia Dematera: Furnishing your home

Alicia and her husband have been in their furniture shop business for a long time and it was the major source of their income. They have experienced problems due to lack of capital but through their initiative, they were able to surpass this.    

 

            Alicia Dematera, 60, of Brgy. Oloc, Laua-an Antique was just a high school graduate. She is married to Mr. Nicanor Dematera. They have two children namely; Salvacion and Romel. The eldest was a graduate of business administration and is currently managing her own business which is buying and selling goods while the youngest is working as a cashier in a establishment in Antique.
