On June 11, 2025, under grey skies and gentle rain, Taytay sa Kauswagan (A Microfinance NGO) Inc. and the TSKI Multipurpose Cooperative came together in the spirit of bayanihan to participate in Brigada Eskwela at Pavia National High School. As part of the ongoing Servant Leadership Program, this heartfelt initiative wasn’t just about cleaning halls or arranging chairs—it was about building a better, brighter environment for the next generation of learners.
Amidst the downpour, the team rolled up their sleeves, sweeping hallways, dusting windows, tidying classrooms, and ensuring every chair and corner was ready to welcome students for the upcoming school year. TSKI was also honored to donate school and cleaning supplies, contributing to the readiness of the school community as it prepares for the start of classes on June 16.
Brigada Eskwela is more than a weeklong activity—it is a movement rooted in compassion, volunteerism, and shared hope for the future. This year’s theme, “Sama-sama Para sa Bayang Bumabasa,” reminds us that when we unite for education and literacy, we plant seeds of change that will grow far beyond the classroom walls. Together, we stand not just for clean classrooms, but for empowered communities and a nation that reads, learns, and rises—together. Because when communities care, schools thrive—and the future becomes unstoppable.
