“Bridging the Gap Between Poverty and Progress”
Taytay Sa Kauswagan (A Microfinance NGO), Inc. is a Christian, non-stock, non-profit organization committed to bridging the gap between poverty and progress through an integrated approach to development. Its core programs and services are designed to empower low-income families and microentrepreneurs by addressing both their economic and non-economic needs.
With a strong presence in rural and underserved communities, TSKI empowers families and microentrepreneurs through inclusive microfinance services, values formation, livelihood support, and community development programs. Guided by faith and a holistic approach, TSKI continues to transform lives by promoting economic self-sufficiency, social responsibility, and spiritual growth.
As someone who came from poverty myself, I understand the daily struggles that poor families face—the uncertainty, the sacrifices, and the constant search for help from others or from institutions that care. I believe TSKI stands as that beacon of hope.
As a microfinance institution committed to transforming lives, we are more than just a source of financial aid—we are partners in their journey out of poverty. We may not have all the answers or limitless resources, but in our way, we are helping families build that bridge—step by step. Through microloans, we help them grow small businesses, earn income, and create a better future. These are not just numbers or statistics—they are stories of parents sending their children to school, of dreams no longer deferred, but pursued.
Beyond microfinance, our programs in community empowerment, farmer development, and other initiatives offer a broader, more holistic support system. We strive to uplift not just individuals, but entire communities—because real change happens when people are empowered on every level.
- MR. PETER M. MONTALBAN
"On June 11, 2025, under grey skies and gentle rain, Taytay sa Kauswagan (A Microfinance NGO) Inc. and the TSKI Multipurpose Cooperative came together in the spirit of bayanihan to participate in Brigada Eskwela at Pavia National High School. As part of the ongoing Servant Leadership Program, this heartfelt initiative wasn’t just about cleaning halls or arranging chairs—it was about building a better, brighter environment for the next generation of learners."

On June 28, 2025, Taytay sa Kauswagan (A Microfinance NGO), Inc. and TSKI Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) took a purposeful pause to honor, uplift, and embrace the elderly residents of Asilo de Molo Home for the Aged, a humble sanctuary run by the Sisters of the Daughters of Charity for a Servant Leader Program."
